When I was cleaning out the old house on my property, I found hundreds of vintage sewing buttons. Many buttons were found loose - some in boxes or drawers, some scattered on the floor. Others were removed from ruined clothing.

A number of these buttons date back to at least the 1930s and 1940s. They are made of glass, seashells, wood, bakelite, lucite, vegetable ivory, metal and more.

Today, I finally finished cleaning, sorting and photographing them. There were 379 that passed muster and will be posted on eBay this week.

This is about 1/4 of the lot I'm selling.
